This is Addlines 0.02, which is an OS/2 program to adds a Lines:
header to email messages in a soup package. It has been tested under
OS/2 Warp only, but probably works under 2.0 and 2.1 as well. If
you want a DOS version, download the yutil package (for example from
http://www.vex.net/yarn/archive/yutil04.zip).
Usage:
Just run addlines in the directory which contains the (unzipped)
SOUP packet you want to process. By default the program produces no
output. Some debug output can be had by giving the command line argument
-debug
How it works:
Addlines expects to find a file called AREAS in the current working
directory. If it finds such a file, it then looks for a line the
text Email in it, which defines the file that contains mail. This
file is then read and the new version with Lines: headers
included is written to a temporary file called zyblzxt, the original
file deleted and the temporary file renamed to that.
Legal disclaimer:
Use at your own risk. It works for me.
Version history:
7/6/96 0.01: Initial release
7/7/96 0.02: Increased stack size to 8M
